reading week is sadly coming to an end and i'm a little upset about it. today is the first day i'll be cracking my books open to start some studying, so yes, i've been extremely lazy. however! i have done some good cooking this week...
2nd or 3rd time making this veg head three bean chili by rachael ray. we get so many meals out of it, it's great! (however, far too spicy and i half all the spices)
my dad made key lime pie and it was the perfect mix between sweet and sour.
well, we're just a little bit obsessed with the oikos yogurt. coconut is *amazing*, but you can't go wrong with any, really.
we felt like cake yesterday, so i made a cake. simple as that. (boxed cake, let's not get ahead of ourselves here)
and finally, a new favorite which is making it's way into the rotation of favorite meals. twice this week i made it! it's from martha stewart's meatless cookbook (love that book) and it's the curried red lentil soup. i don't add the dried cherries just because our grocery store didn't have them, but i don't feel like we're missing out. i highly suggest you try this one.
now excuse me while i go make sure that time slows down for the next 3 days. i'm not ready to go back to midterms and homework just yet.
