parade of love...

pride parade..boy was it a hot one...we've been in a heat wave for a while now. it's just not nice. anyways, the parade started at 2, so i got to where i wanted to be at about 1:20. crowds were already crazy, of course. i was sweltering standing still amongst other sweaty people for 40 minutes. finally, it got started :)

just a little 1 minute video i put together of a few pieces (how do you like the one comment the video has: "looks gay"-wow so creative!!)

i think they estimated about 1 million came out. it's such a great afternoon; such a happy day. however, i got so hot, i could only stay for the first 1/2 hour :( sad. i missed all the naked folk that come out near the end! darn!

a step in the right direction...

today, i just want to say how happy i am. i know i'm not american, but that doesn't matter. new york did the right thing. now, if only the other states would follow suit. marriage is a right that everyone deserves. bottom line. to me, there's no argument. love is love. how can one be against it?? you are then basically saying that straight people deserve more rights and are better than gay people. oh please.
