family time...

i hope everyone had a nice valentine's day! we were able to hang out a bit friday evening before dylan had to leave for work. we exchanged cards,ate cake, and watched some netflix. on saturday, my  parents came for a visit and we went out for dinner and received some valentine's gifts...my mom, any excuse to buy stuff for us ;)

 my parents like to treat us well. and we may have gotten into a few chocolate covered oreos before the picture was snapped...

yesterday, we went over to my parents for sunday dinner and it pretty much never disappoints. my dad is an amazing cook and he made french onion soup - it was his first time making it and eating it (dylan is the only one to have had it before, actually) and oh my gosh was it good.

also, happy family day! aka a day off! hence the family time this weekend since we're busy today. enjoy :)
