a risky night...

i'm not really a board-gamer. sure, i like monopoly, like most people, but that's about the extent of it. the last 2 weeks, i think we played more board games with friends than i've ever played in my life. all games that were new to me, but playing with people who have played these games for years. that, i'm not a fan of. i'll be honest, i don't catch on all that quickly to new games and all the rules and instructions and i don't like being lead through the whole game being told what i have to do. and then when i still don't get it, i just feel incredibly stupid. and i know i'm not, but when you're asking, "what's this card do again?", "i don't get it.." or "ok, now what?" for the umpteenth time, it gets old.

however, the one game that i had no idea what was going on when i played for the first time 2 years ago, but actually got the hang of last week, and somewhat enjoyed? risk, probably dylan's favorite board game. i tied for first, with very little help, and i must say, i was quite proud ;) but man, that games takes forever.

do you guys have any favorite games?

this looks interesting! I'm not going to lie, I'm basically 90 and love puzzles. Like, the old school jigsaw puzzles haha

Ugh I can't stand risk- my hubby loves though. My favorite board games are Cranium & Smart Ass.
