harry potter club...

i may one of the only people on this planet who had never seen a harry potter movie or read a single book. i honestly have no idea what they're even about, except that it involves a boy and magic. this also goes for lord of the rings (i saw the first one, fell asleep for part, and i had/still have no idea what was going on), and twilight (i've seen 2 movies because my girl friend is obsessed) and any other popular film/book series in the last decade.

on saturday, i decided it's finally time i start to watch the series. needless to say, dylan was thrilled to hear this, and less than 5 minutes after it came out of my mouth, we were on our way to the movie store to rent the first one. i was entertained. it kept my attention for the whole 2.5 hours (for the most part) which is a hard feat. certainly didn't love it, and not quite sure what all the hype is about, but i do plan on watching the other 6 at some point in the next few months. perhaps once we're settled in our new place, with our new comfy couch, we'll have a movie day, or two.

ps. happy graduation day to dylan! his ceremony is super early (9:30am!) so by the time most of you are reading this, we'll be in the middle of it, or it will already be over.
