pretty lights on the tree, i'm watchin' 'em shine...

wednesday was my day off and i thought, what the heck, i'll put up my tree. i tried to wait until dylan was here (because we do it together every year), but i wasn't sure the next time he would be up. so i went and did it on my own. little did i know, a few hours later he would be here. but the tree was already up.

you know what else was great? i had my michael buble christmas album going, i was decorating away, and i looked out the window and saw SNOW! and man, there was a lot! literally 30 seconds after i noticed, the next song on itunes came on, and it was white christmas. for a good 30 minutes it was coming down and it was glorious. but then 3 hours later, it was all gone and melted. womp womp.

i know you're kinda busy with you're elves right now.

 have a good weekend! i know i will. my mom is coming tonight and sleeping over. we're going to watch christmas movies, do some shopping tomorrow, and just hang out. and of course, she's bringing chloe  back!! (my parents have had her since the week before we left for quebec because, well duh, you can't leave a dog while you're on vacay).
