home is a fire...

happy friday all! woohoo.

first off, let me just say i saw bridesmaids with my cousin yesterday afternoon. i had extremely high hopes for it, considering what i've heard. i thought it was funny, but i definitely wasn't crying laughing hysterically like i thought i would be. i don't know who said it was the female version of the hangover, but i completely disagree-now that movie had me in tears from start to finish. however, the scene where they're trying on the bridesmaids dresses-the best.

moving on, i'm at my parents again this weekend and we're going out for my grad dinner tonight (my parents and dylan)! yay! this place is supposed to be beautiful and my mom has been here for work christmas dinners, so i hope i love it. and get some nice pictures ;) we waited so long to do dinner because this would be the time when the actual convocation would be, which i decided not to go to. there are a few reasons that led me to that decision and i don't think it's something i'll regret. i didn't go to my college ceremony either. i just want to pick up my diploma, but i have to wait until june 21st. :(

i cut the tip  off my strawberry, and it just happened to be a heart

i hope everyone has a fantastic weekend
♥♥♥

ps. title from death cab for cutie song, off their new cd-codes and keys. which is ahhhh-mazing!!!

Enjoy your grad dinner! I didn't "walk" in my college graduation ceremony either, so I hear ya girl! I heard a lot of different reviews of "Bridesmaids" and my hubby and I decided to wait to get it on Netflix. It's cheaper to watch disappointing movies that way :)

Love the heart strawberry! Andddd I didn't think Bridesmaids was that funny either (I had high expectations too). Have a great dinner tonight!

Thanks for the review on Bridsmaids... I have been debating on whether or not I spend money to go see it in theaters or I just wait until it comes out on VUDU. I'm your newest follower! :)

I'm glad I read your review of Bridesmaids. I had wanted to see it because I had heard it was as funny as the Hangover also but now I think I'll wait until I can Netflix it :)

I haven't seen Hangover 2 or Bridesmaid but I've heard good things about both :) I'm waiting for netflix for that.

I love strawberries! I actually cut it so it forms hearts throughout! Have a great weekend.

Oh no, I heard the same thing - that Bridesmaids was the female version of Hangover II! I will probably still see it, but I'm with you...I have very high expectations after what everyone is saying about it!!

I've had people tell me that Bridesmaids is hysterical but it just doesn't appeal to me for some reason.

I thought that Bridesmaids looked like the femail version of hangover from the adverts.

Love the little heart strawberry.

All the best,
Voe.

I saw Bridesmaids last weekend and I agree, it didn't have me laughing hysterically like my step-mom said I would be. But I thought it was good! I loved the scene where they were trying to get the cop's attention!!
