end of the road...

well, this morning i write my last university exam. i'm sure by the time most of you read this, i'll be in the middle of writing it, or done (it's at 9am). this is what i've worked 4 years towards and it's hard to believe it's finally here. i'm not really sure what to feel. relief, that's for sure. but also now the new stress that comes along with looking for and applying for jobs. but also, i feel like a bit of a failure for not going on to do my masters. it seems everyone is getting their masters and phd's nowadays, and it seems that a university degree just doesn't cut it anymore. but after college and university, i need a break for at least a year. maybe i'll go back to school in the future; i'm definitely not ruling it out. but looking online at jobs briefly, it just seems as though i'm not qualified for much of anything.

but anyways, enough of being mopey-i'm done university and that's an accomplishment! i should be proud! and i am. it feels darn good :) weird, but good.
i don't know what's next, but i'm looking forward to finding out.

edit: i'm done now!!! it feels really crazy and surreal to know that i have no more exams or late nights or studying or papers to write. what?!?! thanks for the comments and congrats thus far!! :):) ♥♥ i just woke up from a nap (i was up at 5am) but i'm going back to hang out in bed and read!!

Congratulations! That was me about a year ago... I was so confused on how I should feel, but mostly I was sad then excited about what came next. Don't feel bad about not getting your Master's (you can always get it later). That's my plan at least :)

CONGRATULATIONS! Ahhh, that moment of finishing exam is such a high, even though those "what's next?" questions keep popping up. I ended up coming back for a term after graduating to take extra classes, then took half a year off and now teachers college. I really think what you want to do is up to you, and whether it means more education or some awesome job, go for it :) I hate the pressure that as soon as you graduate university -you must do something-, so I say enjoy the freedom for a bit, too :)

Congratulations! Take a little time for yourself. I know that it's stressful to not know what's next or for how long you won't know whats next, but that's one of my biggest regrets. I jumped right into a job and I wish I would have taken a trip. Even a little road trip!
