did i get bamboozled?

this is what i picked up at the flea market in NYC, the one that was just a little sketchy..there was a table of shoes (some random, some designer), amongst the mess of records, frames, books, clothes, hats and everything else you imagine flea markets selling. i saw the red soles and thought, there is no way they are real, knockoff for sure. i mean, i've never owned a pair, so i wasn't even sure what i was looking for, to see if there was a tell-tale sign of being fake or real. the bottom of the shoes aren't worn at all (except for me trying them on on the bumpy, rocky, asphalt)and the left shoe has a sticker from bergdorf's on it. it looks like it's been on there a while. would these people go through the trouble of putting stickers on the bottom of shoes to make them seem more legit? i don't know. the soles look exactly the same as what is in stores (i obviously had to go to holt renfrew to check the bottom of theirs).
but how could i leave them there in the off chance they're legit? that's right, i couldn't. i only gave the girl $30 anyways, so if i got bamboozled (which i probably did), then at least she didn't empty my pockets..right? right. and they're cute! anyone out there who can tell me the truth? (you can enlarge this picture) for now, they're just hanging out on a shadow box...

I wasn't going to comment... because to be honest, I no NOTHING about high heels. But then I felt bad reading and not saying anything... so I hope someone can tell you if they're real or not! And, for your sake, I hope they are because that would be one hell of a steal.

Hmmmmmmm, that does seem too good to be true...but I don't see anything glaring that screams fake. Maybe you got REALLY lucky??

Who cares?! They're amazingly cute! Thirty dollars is a bargain whatever way you cut it!

I'm horrible with these things.. in the end it doesn't matter because they are a beautiful pair. Often I feel that my designer heals are more comfortable to walk in then my cheaper ones.. how are they on the foot?

The way I see it, they're adorable whether or not they're fake...so let's call them real! I love the slingbacks and the shape of the heel, and a bow is always a plus. I wish I could go to NY sooo badly! Too bad I'm so far, here in CA.

I know C Lous, and you my dear have gotten yourself one hell of a deal, but yes, they will go to the trouble of putting stickers and such to fool you, but not in this case. I am green with envy Bree, just green, or should I say black with red soles. Congrats hang on to these only special occasions.

glad someone could confirm that they're real. :) regardless that's still a good deal on such cute shoes. i'm sure you have some place you're ready to wear them to?

Like so many others have said before me, real or not, you got yourself a seriously cute pair of shoes for $30.

In my limited experience with expensive shoes, the better they feel on your foot, the higher-quality the shoe tends to be, so if the shoe fits well...

I definitely agree with everyone-at $30, real or not-they were super cute and there was no way I was leaving them there!

Honestly Ms. Girly, for $30, I could care less if they were real or fake. I doubt Bergdorf's would put a sticker on such beautiful shoes....but whatever. Wear them proud!
