march 29 was earth hour, so of course i turned off all the lights between 8:30 and 9:30, lit a few candles, and continued my recent obsession with watching gossip girl.

from my view of the city, i didn't notice it any darker. apparently, toronto hydro only noticed a 6% decrease in power usage in that hour.
back to gossip girl for a sec - no spoilers please! i wanted a new show to watch last week and i was looking through netflix and decided on this! i'm motoring right along; almost done season 2 already. so, needless to say, i'm kind of loving it. total cross between 'the oc' and 'cruel intentions', no?
