happy-hearted...

city life is a funny thing. you can walk around all day, immersing yourself in the hustle and bustle and passing by thousands of people. you hear cars honking, (sometimes weird) conversations, people yelling things on the streets, maybe some live music. and then at then end of the day, you find yourself back home, high in the sky, in your quiet little condo and see breathtaking sunsets like below. there's the hum of the highway below, but other than that, it's calm and quiet. i often sit on the balcony and just look at the lake below and watch the sunset.

it was an odd, foggy sunset, but it made for a great picture with the birds. not 5 minutes after i took this, the sky was red as could be, and then just gone.
