2013 in review...

2013 has come to a close and 2014 is about to barge in. this was a good year for us with a lot of (good) changes. we started our first few months still living in hamilton, where i wasn't too happy, but eventually things changed, and life got fun again.

january
i made crème brûlée for the first time, we enjoyed weekend breakfasts and time together, and took a look back at old pictures. january always seems to be rather uneventful for me.

february
i tried on my mom's wedding dress, enjoyed a big snow storm, celebrated valentines day, had a staycation, and celebrated a friend's 26th birthday.

march
my grandma turned 90, we made the (best) decision ever - to move back to toronto, ate homemade gnocchi, quit my job at a portrait studio, and hunted for a condo to live in.

april
i had an interesting night with the fire department, got the keys to our condo, had a painting party, piled everything in a moving truck and were on our way to a new life in toronto, shared a delicious gnocchi gratin recipe, and took in the city.

may
i hung out with girl friends, shared a tour of our condo, dylan turned 27, we watched fireworks, went behind the scenes of toronto businesses, relaxed on a man-made beach, and became obsessed with a certain doughnut shop.

june
i went on a cabin adventure, went to a concert on the beach with friends, played squash for the first time, went to woofstock, made a summer to do list and completed most of it, and went through the good and bad of condo living.

july
we checked out the bluffs, had a girls night, a beach day, i made the decision to go back to school, i turned 26, my parents visited, went to my first baseball game, went to an engagement party for dylan's brother, and went on another blate.

august
we went to allan gardens conservatory, dylan got his license pertaining to his job, we went on a like hike with great views, visited tobermory and saw the most amazing grotto, went to lewiston with my mom, went to a free outdoor concert, went on a double date, checked out buskerfest, and got ready for school.

september
we went to the high park zoo, i tried to see some celebs at tiff, got bogged down with school work, went to another baseball game, i lost dylan to a new obsession, and chloe turned 6.

october
nuit blanche happened, i went brunette, we went to a wedding, to the ripley's aquarium, and went on a weekend trip to montreal.

november
we celebrated a few birthdays, hit 7 years together, decorated for christmas, and went on a date.

december
we saw an insane christmas house, i wrote 7 exams in 5 days, we had our first big snow fall, a christmas date in a park, had a major ice storm, hosted our annual potluck with girl friends, had a fantastic christmas, and tonight, we're hanging in with chinese food and movies for new year's eve.

i certainly can't complain about 2013, but i'm ready to see what 2014 has in store for us.
