the tall ships...

over the weekend, while there was a lot of relaxing, we did take a walk down to the tall ships festival along the harbourfront. toronto "hosted the full fleet of ships as they travel throughout ontario ... to commemorate the bicentennial of the war of 1812." we opted not to buy the tickets that get you on the boats, and instead just wander around and check them out. 

we didn't get to see too many that were docked, i think most of them were out on the water at the time. but, walking around a festival where they're handing out free drinks (non alcoholic, unfortunately) is fine by me.
