the man cave...

about a month ago, dylan's uncle had said he was getting rid of one his tv's because it would 'click' for about 5 minutes before it finally turned on. dylan thought, "hey, i could probably fix that", so his uncle gave it to us. a day later, with the help of google and youtube, dylan had replaced a few parts on the circuit board for a total of $3 and fixed the tv to good as new. this was his first time doing something like this, and he surprised himself, along with me, that was successful.
working away.
 quite the dusty tv. oops.
how his days are spent.

we now have 3 (pretty big) tv's in our 2 bedroom apartment. i've take over the living room, and dylan has pretty much claimed the office as his 'man cave' since i always keep my computer in the living room. i swear, once he becomes addicted to a video game, he's a gremlin that sits in that room all day, sometimes in the dark, playing away and comes out to eat dinner and to go to work. until he completes the game and i see him for a day or 2. then he starts a new one up and we go back to our 'separate' lives. i'm not complaining though; one of my big fears moving in together was losing the 'me time' that i had grown so accustomed to living alone for 5 years. so play away dyl, play away!

I'll never understand grown men who play video games so obsessively, but it's good to know that my boyfriend isn't the only one. :p

Good that you're getting some alone time out of his game time!
