sample junkie...

one thing you should know about me is that i love samples of things (particularly if they are free), and i love getting mail. but, most of my mail goes to my parents, so i get very little here in toronto. anyways, at christmas, i was having the hardest time coming up with something i wanted. when i finally thought of something, i was let down. what was it? birchbox. i had heard so much about it from the blogging community and i got really excited. but then the whole they-don't-deliver-to-canada-thing kind of left me disappointed.

fast forward to yesterday, i was reading a magazine that my neighbor had gave me, and i saw a little article about glossybox, which is basically the same thing, but for canadians! for $15 a month, you get a box of 5 beauty samples.

i'm pretty sure i want to subscribe to this, but i would love to hear others opinions who do/have subscribed to something like this. do you like it? hate it? think it's worth it? ever had any problems? i very rarely spend money on myself (hello major school debt!), so even though it's 'only' $15 a month, i usually don't even spend that much on eating out/clothes etc a month lol so sad. i guess you could say this would be a splurge for me. i like the fact that you can cancel at any point. you know, if $15month just becomes too much for me (ha), i can easily bow out with no consequences.

**update: i went for it and ordered my first box!! now i'm on edge and will be waiting ever so patiently for it to arrive so i can tear it open!
