anyway, while my mom was here, she wanted to go to campus (edit: it's university of toronto-UofT) and take a few pictures of old windows to get blown up and framed for the living room..we brought the little one along and sweat it out on a brutal hot day.
i had a lot of classes here, i always found it super creepy. especially the one tutorial in the basement. eek.
established in 1853. while a lot of the campus is now new buildings, or fairly new (i believe there's about 250 buildings total), i still prefer the old ones like this..they're just not made to look like this anymore. and of course the seats are horrendous in the old buildings, doesn't it give it more heart and a past to leave the old buildings up??
my little baby girl was panting like crazy. don't worry, we went right to shade after this.
walking around and thinking i'll no longer be going through the campus streets on a daily basis anymore :( tear.
well, that's it, that's all.
happy friday all.

love, love, love those old buildings. my sister goes to McMaster and a lot of her classes are in gorgeous, ivy covered buildings like those.
this year IS going by fast - it's not just you. i'm actually super bothered by it!
What a beautiful place to study! I thought the place you said was creepy was the prettiest of them all :) Yet I'll give that in a basement might be a bit scary.. lol
Those buildings are beautiful!! Seeing them makes me want to go to college there lol :) BTW I'm taking your button for my blog loves page.

The Kings College building was, I believe, used in a "scary" movie back in the 80's (?). And, there is a ghost story that links a skeleton discovered laying at the foundation of the tower after a devastating 1800's fire, two creepy gargoyles at the far west end of the colonnade, a large gash in a nearby door, and many reports by nighttime users over the years of eerie sounds..great blog. Love T.O./N.Y.
