a step in the right direction...

today, i just want to say how happy i am. i know i'm not american, but that doesn't matter. new york did the right thing. now, if only the other states would follow suit. marriage is a right that everyone deserves. bottom line. to me, there's no argument. love is love. how can one be against it?? you are then basically saying that straight people deserve more rights and are better than gay people. oh please.
go canada!

i could go on a huge long rant about this, because it's sometime i feel so strongly about. but i'll just leave it as is.

equality for all.

    the other day i saw something on tumblr, it said something along the lines of "if homosexuality is a disease, let's all call in queer to work: "hello. can't work today, still queer." so true.

    I couldn't agree with you more! I hope there are many more states that quickly follow NY's example. I'm in CA and can't believe that we are heading the opposite direction of NY :( Hopefully that changes fast!

    I agree, big time. I used to not be a big contender for GLBT rights because I thought that they had the same rights as everyone else. As soo as I started watching Glee and saw the difference I looked at my veiw differently. So I'm proud of New York. Love is love.

    agreed!! I'm so happy one more state in the US took this step. Gay marriage has been legal here since 2009, not that long but better late then never. How is it in Canada?
